The Japanese are known to be a long-lived nation. They look excellent even in old age and they have iron health thanks to a proper diet.

According to Japanese Doctor Hiromi Shinya, the first step to restoring the body is to give up bad habits.

He claims that animal and dairy products used in food negatively influence health.

They contain oxidized fats, and once they enter the intestines, they increase the number of harmful bacteria.
This leads to toxins and free radicals forming, which can cause serious diseases such as cancer and diabetes.

Nutritionists do not argue that it is necessary to completely give up meat but say that it is much more essential to establish a correct ratio of foods in our daily menu.

They recommend that we balance our diet so that meat does not constitute more than 10-15%, and plant-based products account for 89-90%.

The optimal ratio of foods on the daily menu would be:

1. Cereals – 50%.

They must be present on the menu because they contain fiber and many trace elements necessary for the human body. To benefit from the maximum nutrients from cereals, it is good to consume them in their raw form, that is, preferably whole grains.

 

2. Fruits and vegetables -between 30 – 40%.

They are an important source of fiber, vitamins, and trace elements indispensable for the human body. It is recommended to eat them fresh, as heat processing significantly reduces the number of vitamins.

3. Meat– 10-15%.

The reason why meat products are assigned such a small percentage in the daily menu is the fact that our body consumes far too much energy to digest them. Moreover, eating meat leads to premature aging of the body, which is why it is recommended to replace meat with fish because it is digested much faster.

For each kilogram of body mass, you need 1 g of protein product/day of fish or meat.
Also, the doctor advises not to eat on the run, because any food must be chewed well. Thus, the body will digest the food consumed much more easily, plus we will eat much less.

It should be mentioned that drinking water also has an essential role in maintaining the health of the body, because water hydrates mucous membranes, increases immunity, and protects the body from viruses. It is mandatory to drink water in the morning, before breakfast. And very important: do not skip breakfast, because it contributes to the secretion of bile that has accumulated overnight.

It is recommended to consume 500 ml of water each before breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

It goes without saying that due to these important changes, health will improve and the body will be toned and stronger.

So try to reconsider your daily menu, eat healthy foods, and assimilate some useful and beneficial habits for the body, to be healthier. Especially since these recommendations are not at all drastic and do not require much effort.
