December is a special month, being one of the most beloved periods of the year. Both the little ones and the big ones love Christmas. Because it’s the time of year when beautiful things happen, people give each other presents, the atmosphere is beautiful, with landscapes full of snowflakes, with the visit of Santa Claus and the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The legend of Christmas starts from the biblical teachings that tell the story of the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ. It is said that the Mother of God was about to give birth when she arrived at Saint Nichol, asking him to help her and give her shelter over the frosty night. However, he said that he was poor and refused to give her a roof over his head, and sent her to his younger and richer brother, Santa Claus.

According to legend, the Mother of God and Iosif arrived at Santa’s house where his wife, Crăciuneasa, was alone and asked her for shelter. The woman took pity on Mary and gave them shelter in the manger. Crăciuneasa knew that her husband would not accept poor people in the house because he was evil and unfaithful, and he would punish her for this. Miraculously, the Mother of God manages to save Crăciuneasa from the punishment of her husband. Upon learning that Jesus came to life in his stable, Santa Claus asks God for forgiveness and becomes the first Christian. Also, the next day, Santa Claus shared his fortune with poor people and children. And so the legend of Santa Claus was born, who every Christmas Eve visits the homes of good children to share joys and gifts.

So, December is the best time to forgive, to love more, to be more understanding with ourselves and those around us, to forget about daily hardships, and to have a good time with our loved ones. Or so it should be. But December comes with both good and bad things because you can’t have them all, can you? But even so, we have a lot of reasons to love the gift month, and today we will mention some of the most important ones.

1. Christmas decorations

Despite the crowds in the cities, there is an air of celebration everywhere. The city is lit by light bulbs, and the shops are decorated with beautiful decorations. Christmas fairs are fairytale places where you can come with the little ones and the big ones, you can enjoy the smell of gingerbread, mulled wine, and Christmas carols, but also beautiful decorations, most handmade, and which make so that everything is a story.

 2. The desire to be a good man

It is perhaps the only month of the year when most of us think more about others and less about ourselves. We all make an effort to please those around us, whether we know them personally or not. And this charges us with positive vibrations, and so we seem to thank the Universe, which is with us every day and every month of the year.

3. Christmas music

With the traditional carols, which are passed down from generation to generation, and which you hear all December, wherever you go, everything looks more beautiful. In the shops, at the Christmas fairs, or even on the street, you can see carolers, who seem to give even more life to this period. And all this makes us resonate even more with the spirit of Christmas.

4. Congestion of the city

For various reasons, most of us, on the last hundred meters, try to find the right gift or the perfect Christmas tree. And even though it may seem tiring and annoying at first, we should enjoy the beautiful things without being overwhelmed by negative thoughts. Because in fact, even the congestion contributes to this festive atmosphere. Each of us wants to celebrate Christmas properly, and we should think that in fact all this hustle and bustle on the streets and in the shops, announces Christmas, the most awaited holiday for many of us.

5. Reunion with family and friends

It is clear that at Christmas we all make it so that we see our family, our loved ones, whether they are far away or closer to us. We stop our daily routine and make time to reunite with our family, to sit around the table, at least once a year, without resentment, hatred, or misunderstanding.

 6. Christmas tree

It is definitely the defining picture of the Christmas holiday. And it is perhaps the most beautiful picture of the year. When we all feel good, and we are glad that we managed to share so much joy and bring smiles to the faces of our loved ones this year as well. Especially when the gifts are so beautifully decorated and placed with great care under the Christmas tree.
