Do you feel ready to start a new year? A year that you want to be better than the previous one, to bring more magic in your life? To live every moment with more enthusiasm and more joy? Then you probably think that you will need a magic wand for all this to happen, but you don’t have to be a magician or have a magic wand.
Newton says, “Every action is opposed by an equal and opposite reaction,” and applying the concept of gratitude is something like this: every act of giving inevitably generates an opposite reaction of receiving. So, if you want to receive, you have to start by giving. This is the law.
It is said that we are spiritual beings who live human experiences and through which the universe fulfills its spiritual mission.
That’s why if you want the new year to be magical, then you have to put aside all the mental baggage from the past that is no longer useful to you and make space, to be charged with peace, joy, bliss, and beauty of life.
1. Practice gratitude
It is that state when we no longer pay attention to negative thoughts and emotions – and we always return to this state to which we always have access.
2. Start and end each day with gratitude
It must be a constant daily practice, not just on holiday. For example, you can set your alarm in the morning and in the evening, so that it reminds you to take a break and write down what you are grateful for. Even if we do not have any material things to thank, then you can thank you for your body and for the fact that you can breathe, because it is more valuable than anything material.
3. Remove negative thoughts
It is perfectly normal not to always be a rainbow or a butterfly. It is normal to have negative thoughts, but it is important to have more positive thoughts. We are surrounded by all sorts of things and it is normal to take from the thoughts of those around us, but it is important to be aware of them and let them go, and then come back with 2 more positive thoughts. Our goal is not to drive away all negative thoughts, but especially to bring in as much positive energy as possible.
4. Feed your body with love…. Towards anything
The things we feed our bodies – what we eat, our relationship, our activities, all come together and influence our mood and thoughts. Ayurvedic science, for example, focuses on the mind, body, and soul. And it’s not about what I eat, it’s about how I eat. That is why it is very important to eat as calmly, relaxed, and conscious as possible because even if we do not realize it, eating like the other factors is an essential element in defining our well-being.
5. Practice Meditation
Like breathing exercises, meditation is not a to do list — to look for something — but it is a to be list — to do something, to learn to be present — to be present in the midst of chaos, and to handle situations calmly. The mind tries to hold us back – to feel safe in a safe, but we need to do things to help us move forward even if it means taking risks. When we meditate, even for a few minutes, our energy changes and so do our thoughts.
6. Identify that magic thing for you
Find something that you can do at any time and that will help you raise your energy level whenever you need it. For example, it can be a favorite song to listen to when your mood is weak, or it can be going to the gym, running, dancing, doing yoga, or maybe chanting. Each of us must find that action that changes his energy, changes his state. And it doesn’t have to be something that necessarily creates a certain level of adrenaline for you but that increases your energy aura.
So, find magic in everything around you and turn the coming year into a magical one, in which to turn into the best version of yourself.
